The Good Friday Agreement: Looking Back, Looking Ahead

Presented in collaboration with NYU’s Glucksman Ireland House.

Tuesday, April 17, 7.00 pm

Note special location: Rosenthal Pavilion, 60 Washington Square South

April 2018 marks the twentieth anniversary of Belfast's Good Friday Agreement; the multilateral agreement which established the current relationship of Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, and recently made all the more complex in light of Brexit. Senator George Mitchell, who played a pivotal role in this peace settlement, will reflect on how this historic milestone came to pass with CGA Clinical Associate Professor Thomas Hill.
