6:00 PM - 8:30 PM	The George Sideris Honors & Scholars Symposium The George Sideris Honors & Scholars Symposium highlights the achievements of Paul McGhee Division students who have excelled in their fields and have received scholarships, awards, or honors as a result. This year's presenters are William N. Duffey (Organizational Behavior & Communications, 2012), "Subjective Task Perception and Motivational Outcomes: Toward Lifting the Veil on Work-Leisure Constructs"; Blair Jensen (Media Studies, 2011), "Canto X of Dante's Purgatorio - The Pride of the Artist"; and Tara Greenfield (Creative Writing, 2011), "Song of the Bowhead." The event is named in honor of Dr. George Sideris, one of McGhee’s most outstanding and dedicated professors, who through his own personal initiative organized seminars for students to present their work during the 1990’s and the early 2000’s. Dr. Sideris taught at McGhee from 1980 until his passing in 2007.
