Today's construction professionals require the strategic, analytical, and leadership skills-as well as the sophisticated technical expertise-to anticipate and to adapt to the dynamic forces that are constantly reshaping the industry. Risk Analysis, for example, has become an industry touchstone, and new technologies in software change the context for construction decision making and project management. The M.S. in Construction Management, offered by the NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate, provides the applied knowledge necessary to propel your career forward in areas such as project management, site logistics, site safety, project cost estimating, negotiations, legal aspects, planning, scheduling, and cost control. Whether you are already a seasoned construction manager or are new to the field, you will learn to synthesize what you gain in our program and to apply your knowledge to move forward professionally in construction management.
