Join us for Walk In Wednesday and receive a decision on your application to the Paul McGhee Undergraduate Division within 2-3 business days. Admission counselors will be available throughout the day to answer any questions you may have. While your application is being reviewed, you will be able to speak with an Academic advisor to have your transcripts evaluated for transfer credit.

In order to receive a decision, you must have a submitted and completed application on file. Please bring any outstanding documents when attending this event.

Political Corruption and the "Economy of Influence": Confronting Causes, Measuring Costs, and Identifying Solutions

Wednesday, December 2, 7.00 - 8.30 pm

Political corruption has been identified as possibly the most significant barrier globally to economic development, judicial efficacy, and civic engagement. Join moderator Regina Joseph, a Good Judgment Project Superforecaster and CGA Futures Fellow, for a conversation about the conditions that allow corruption to flourish, the threats it poses in the U.S. and around the world, and some possible solutions to end its stranglehold over good governance and global progress.

Featuring:

Lawrence Lessig, Roy L. Furman Professor of Law and Leadership at Harvard Law School (on leave), former 2016 presidential candidate

Zephyr Teachout, Associate Professor of Law, Fordham University; 2014 New York Gubernatorial Candidate
